The music arrangement was done by Mushfiq Litu. Sohag, the legend’s protégé, sang the songs anew for the new album. The speciality of the album is that four of the songs were written, composed and originally sung by Bari Siddiqui. The album, “Premer Ghuri”, was released on Valentine’s Day (February 14) on Bangladhol YouTube channel. That same Sohag recently released his debut album, which contains lyrics and tunes by the legend. Sohag Sumon, the first runner-up of Close-Up 1 Tomakey Khujchhey Bangladesh 2012, learned his craft from singing maestro Bari Siddiqui, who passed away in 2017.
